5 Low-Stress Jobs for Moms

A lot of moms struggle with finding a job that can accommodate their busy schedules and still pay enough to make their families happy. But you don't have to sacrifice your sanity just so you can pay the bills; there are many jobs out there that are low stress and easy enough for moms to handle! In this article, I'll show you some great options for moms who want a flexible schedule while still earning good money.

There are many great jobs that moms can do while still having a decent amount of free time

When it comes to the question of whether or not you can find a job that allows for flexibility, you may be surprised by how many options are actually out there. There are many different industries and positions that moms—and other parents—can work in while still having a decent amount of free time at home.

Many of these jobs can also pay quite well and fit into the schedule of a busy mom. While you might not be able to make as much money as you would at an office job, you’re likely to have more flexibility with your time and location. Since many home-based work options allow working from home, there is no need to rush out of the house early in the morning or stay late at night. You can do your work around your kids’ schedule, so there is no need to hire a babysitter if they are still young enough that daycare isn’t an option yet. If your kids are older and naptime doesn't work for them or they are at school most days (or vice versa), many people find that working evenings works best during those times when other people aren't awake yet!

Here are some low stress jobs that you may want to consider as a mom:

Online Tutor

Online tutoring is a great option for moms who want to work from home and have their own schedule. You can set your own hours, choose your own clients, and work as much or as little as you'd like. This is a great low-stress career with lots of flexibility.

Graphic Designer

Graphic designers are in high demand right now, and they can work from home. This is a great job for moms that have an eye for design and don't mind the occasional deadline crunch. Graphic designers are creative, self-motivated workers who have to be able to work independently while still collaborating with other people.

They need to know how to use graphics software like Adobe Photoshop (the industry standard), as well as Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver—though there are many other programs out there that you could learn too! If you're interested in this line of work but aren't sure about your ability yet, take some time off from working and teach yourself some basics before jumping into the field full-time.

Social Media Manager

Social media managers are responsible for managing the social media profiles of their company or client. This may include creating, posting and replying to posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other platforms.

Social media managers can also take care of websites or apps that have social components such as chatbots or live broadcasts on Facebook Live. You might even manage an entire website's content strategy while keeping up with all your other responsibilities!

The median annual wage for social media managers is $42,590 in the United States.

A bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field is required for most entry-level positions in this field; however, a postgraduate degree will improve your chances of finding work quickly and making more money down the road.

Blogger

If you're looking for a low-stress job that can be done from home, blogging is a great option. If you're already an experienced writer and want to get started with your own blog, it's never been easier! You can begin setting up your blog by choosing a platform like WordPress or Blogger.

Once you've got all the technical stuff taken care of, it's time to start writing! It's best if you have some kind of theme or niche in mind when starting out; this will help keep things organized and focused on exactly what type of content readers are looking for. For example, if my blog was about parenting tips and tricks then I'd probably focus on topics such as baby proofing your home or how to deal with sleep deprivation at night time.

Freelance Writer

If you're looking for a job that allows you to work from home, freelance writing is an excellent option. You can set your own hours and work at your own pace, and many freelancers choose to take on projects that interest them. Some of the best paying jobs are in technical writing or copywriting, which means there's plenty of opportunity for moms who want to make extra money.

One thing that makes freelance writing so appealing is that it doesn't require a lot of training or education. The best part? Most people don't even need an office! The only things they'll need are a computer with internet access (which most people have these days), some business cards and stationery—and maybe even a phone number if they plan on doing phone calls with clients—and boom! They're ready to start earning money immediately.

Moms have many options for low stress jobs that pay well.
