9 Part Time Jobs for Moms in 2023

Many moms want a flexible, family-friendly job. Fortunately, there are many part time jobs for moms that can provide this flexibility, and they are in high demand. In fact, data from the U.S. Department of Labor shows that nearly 50% of women with children under 18 worked in some type of part time job in 2018. Plus, there's no shortage of work opportunities for stay-at-home moms who want to supplement their income or who just need something to do during their child's school hours.

This list includes 9 great jobs for moms that require working only a few hours per week (or less!)

Tutor

Tutoring is a great way to make money, especially if you're already familiar with the subject. You can tutor in everything from math and science to English and history. A degree is not required but it will definitely help your chances of getting hired.

Tutoring can be done from home, which makes it easy for moms who want to stay at home with their kids while they work part-time jobs. However, this also means that there are no breaks or days off from tutoring unless you happen upon some scheduling overlap between clients who need tutors at different times during the week or month!

Work from Home

Work from home jobs are ideal for moms who want to set their own schedule, want the flexibility of working from home, and don't mind working in their pajamas. Many work-from-home job opportunities require little or no training so you can start earning money right away. You don't have to worry about commuting time or childcare costs as well as dress code or boss stress when you work at home!

Personal Assistants

Personal assistants are in demand, but you have to work hard to find one. Personal assistants can work from home and earn good money, but they need good time management skills so they don't take on too much at once. They should also be able to keep track of their clients' schedules and needs, which may include making appointments or traveling with them if needed.

Personal assistants often work as part of a team; some people have several personal assistants who specialize in different areas (e-mail support, travel arrangements, etc.)

Food Delivery Driver

You can make money delivering food to people's homes. This is a great job for moms who want to work from home and are familiar with the area they live in. You may be able to do this job in your own car or you might have access to a company car, which would make it easier for you as well as being safer for customers if there were an accident on the way over!

You'll need some training before being allowed onto the roads but most companies will provide this free of charge because they know how important it is that their drivers stick around! The best thing about this job? You decide when and where you work!

Hotel Cleaner

Hotel cleaner is a great part time job for moms. It's flexible, you can work from anywhere and it doesn't require much training.

The job of hotel cleaner is to clean the rooms, hallways and other public spaces of a hotel or motel. You will need to make sure that everything looks nice and clean so that guests feel comfortable staying there. If they don't like the way their room looks after they leave it then they might not come back again!

Pet Sitter

If you're a dog or cat lover and have the time to spare, pet sitting can be a great way to make some extra cash. You'll need to take care of animals in your clients' homes while they are away or at work, which means having flexible hours and being able to get by without any interaction with other humans for days at a time (unless you bring your own pets along).

You'll also need references from previous clients before anyone will hire you as their pet sitter, so make sure that if someone says they've hired you once before, ask them for their name and contact info so that when potential employers call them up asking how everything went with their last pet sittership.

Retail Worker

Retail workers sell products to customers. They can be found in department stores, bookstores and even gas stations. Retail workers can enjoy flexible hours and work days, as well as the opportunity to meet new people every day. The requirements for this job include good communication skills, an outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills.

Retail jobs are plentiful because they're usually part-time positions that don't require a lot of education or experience on the part of applicants--you just need to know how to sell something! The perks of retail work include earning extra cash while you're at home raising your kids (or if you have no kids) so that when they go back into school full time later on this fall/winter there will still be money coming in each month until then!

Data entry clerks are responsible for entering data into a computer system. They may use a variety of computer software programs, such as word processing and spreadsheet applications, to perform this task.
